I was thinking about adding two levels in the enclosure i'll be making for my new girls, but after vtec's posts, i'm not too sure. I was thinking of having two levels for added floor space, but it is a bad idea? I'll be housing 2 girls together, so I wanted to give them as much room as possible in a 20g tank.
Also, does anyone know where I can get thinner slate down in SoCal? The slate I have from Home Depot is about 1/4th of an inch thick, and it seems to be a tad too thick for heating purposes.
