Jackson's chameleons do give live birth. They are not the only chameleon that does and they are not the only lizard that does either.

Bradypodian and bitaeniatus species, rudis, fuelleborni, dwarf Jackson's chameleons are live bearers just to name some of them.

Other lizards that reproduce by live birth are cordylus, all blue tongue skinks, Solomon Islands Prehensile-tailed skink, all 17 species of gecko in New Zealand are live-bearers, etc.

There are a lot of snakes that bear live too.

Not only do some chameleons and other lizards reproduce by live birth some also reproduce by parthenogenesis.

"In 15 of the Cnemidophorus species there are no males. They reproduce without fertilization, a process known as parthenogenesis of "virgin birth"."

"The all-female populations reproduce by parthenogenesis (the females are capable to produce young without male fertilization)."

On the cham site adcham.com there is a species database. You can see which species bear live and which are egg layers.
