I am getting some checkered garter snakes and I am wondering if they need to be hibernated to breed? Also did u convert them to a rodent diet? Do/will they take rodents?

I've got seven at last count, including two captive born from last year. Keep them in my garage - temps don't get too hot during the summer nor too cold during the winter. The two juvies are eating rosies - trying to put some size on them & switch to pinks - but my adults all eat f/t pinkies. All ate unscented but one, had to scent with tree frogs for a couple feedings. Hope this helps.
