Gilleni for John Egan and others

FR Dec 25, 2006 01:13 PM

Hi John, Gilleni and other members of that group like your kings. Are kept the same way and have similar habitat. All are crack dwellers and also live in holes. They shelter in the ground, normally and feed and thermoregulate in cracks, under bark, in hollow limbs, etc.

Gilleni is a bit more aboreal member of this group and Kings and Brevis are a bit for ground dwellers. With Brevis being to most restricted to the ground. But remember, each can be found doing the others "thing". Kings normally stay at ground level to about ten feet up.

The picture of the gilleni cage shows stacks of RETES boards under the basking lite, a regular old bulb. It also shows a slanted stack, which members of this group really really really really love(lots of monitors do) This slanted stack is something Kings really really understand and use. Same for Pilbaras.

These boards and cages are old, they have been successfully keeping and producing members of this groups for about 15 years. And yes, these are the original boards. hahahahahahahaha. Enjoy the pics

Hey nice post, I'm going to give my caudos on of those slanted stacks. Is that a 3x2x2 trough? That's what the caudo girls are in.
Cheers
