Here is the most recent pictures I have of them. The weather hasn't been great and I've been taking more pictures of the new animals than these two. Next good weather I should take them and get some nicer ones.
Here's a few of Whisper

And Tempest...these aren't very recent, but she hasn't changed much.
A little overexposed but good for the time of year...

I took these two this evening in her cage. I think she's due to shed soon.

Just for ha ha's, here's the two new ones.
Fuego...PNG/Biak from Will Bird

And Surprise- a Biak from the Columbia show

thank you i still love them 2 the new ones are pretty also how are the tempers on the new ones? im in debat about getting another one but also want a emerald tree boa so i dont know ill figure out what i want to do after breeding season is over with my other snakies and i make a lil room and ill know if my sorong is male of female by than also she is like 100some gramms but i wanna wait a lil longer to probe her

MegF Dec 25, 2006 08:46 PM

Fuego, the red one is very sweet. The yellow one is Satan's Spawn. Tickled her or him off the branch the other day and it came right up the hook and bit me on the wrist. Little turd! I'll be probing that one soon and find out what it is....I have a feeling it is a PMS'ing Biatch! LOL! I have an Aru coming in January. Yearling that's already changed. Kathy says it's mellow. It was originally one of Bob Wiseheart's babies. Kathy thinks it's a girl but I'll probe to confirm.

cool i cant wait to find out what sex mine is. i thnk if i can find a tame sorong mate for it ill get it asap but i gotta wait till i probe her. what size/weight do you wait till to probe them? and whats the scale count male to female? 3-5 female anything more male? and what size probe you use there tail just seems to taper alot to me so i dont wanna use the ones i use for my other snakes it is a small set but ball tipped and it seems to big for him/her only other thing i have is 2 other probes that came with it but those are tiny and seem sharp

MegF Dec 26, 2006 04:55 AM

They need to be one year or at least 100 grams to probe. No one has told me without doubt what the scale count should be, but I think I remember someone saying 8 or more for a male. If I have a chance, I'll see if I can find it on the MVF forum. I use the same probes that I use on my colubrids. The mid sized one is usually fine for them. You don't want too small a probe.

yeah i know that to small is a bad thing but to big gives you false results lol the smallest one on my set is small but the ball tip is kinda big i dont know what klind of set you use but mine was like a set a 5 probes in a leather case with 2 tiny tiny things that i dont know if i would call a probe lol.

MegF Dec 26, 2006 06:20 PM

Mine were in a set of 3 that I ordered from Kathy Love on her website. They work pretty well for most of my animals. I don't use the tiny one as I pop the corn hatchlings and don't probe. The middle one seems to work well for adult corns and the yearling chondros.
