Anyone buy snakes from Jud McClanahan?

hredder Dec 25, 2006 09:15 PM

Im interested in purchasing a super tiger tic from Jud and just want to hear from anyone who has purchased any snakes from him. I did my own research and found nothing negative which is good. When I purchase from online I like to make sure the person I am purchasing from is reliable. Has anyone on here used him in the past and have there been any problems? Please let me know. Im hoping to get positive feedback. I most likely gonna purchase a snake tomorrow morning. Just want to do a last minute check with Kingsnake.

Thanks guys

Jud McClanahan is very modest and he is Kelly Haller's partner so mention Kelly when inquiring about him. Look on this forum and you will find some that are very pleased with Jud's snakes. Go over to the KS Anaconda Forum (sub forum under the Boa forum) and mention these gentlemen if you want to light up the board. Bill.

Jud has been working with retics for close to 30 years now and has been producing young from them for many years. He is definitely one of the most knowledgeable people in the country on their care and reproduction. He has been a friend for many years now, and I can say without hesitation that he is one of the most trustworthy and conscientious people I know, not only with his snakes, but also the people he deals with.

Kelly thanks for the reply. Jud felt uncomfortable selling me the retic as he felt I was a lil paranoid in regards to buying a unseen snake online. NO hard feelings towards him whatsoever because He can choose who he wants to sell too and I see nothing wrong with that.

Me personally speaking, like to see the pattern of the snake b4 I purchase. But anyways its spilled milk. I went to Bob Clark and just got my retic this morning

I must say I was very please with Jud. He breed awesome animals with great temperments. I got a super tiger a couple of months ago and he is great. Never offered to bite never snapped. I free handed the retic right out of the shpping bag with no problems. Jud is a great person to deal with.

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words. I am very proud of the snakes I produce and enjoy hearing from pleased customers. There are times in life you have to follow your gut feelings which is what I did. I hope nobody was offended. Thank you. Jud
