By your snappers? Describe what happened.
I have not been bitten by any of my snappers but they are not too big yet so I do not think it would hurt that much at this time.

I have bin bit by baby snapping turtles many times no pain or marks but about 7-8 years ago i saw a big female snapper walking across a parking lot. I went over to help her across on the far side was a pond she was heading when i went to pick her up and snapped back real fast and bit a good chunk of my left pinkie off. It was under the nail and bleed pritty good. i still have a scar from it.

their bite is sort of two fold. the initial "snap" followed up by a torqueing crunch and if its out of the water, they dont like to release. sort of like a pit bulldog. its their only defense so you cant put the blame on the turtle. common snappers on the other hand are lightning quick and have more range and i think harder to handle.
I was feeding my 2 youngsters crickets ,not paying much attention, and the larger was wanting hotdogs. Not much damage but sharpened attention.
