Problem persisting. Any ideas?

It's been 4 days now and my russian's head is still cocked sideways at times. He eats fine, but it is really worrying me. It is now starting to look moist in the area around his eyes/mouth.

Could his stay underground have given him a respritory infection? He seems to be hissing more than usual, and i'm afraid that could just be his breathing.

Andrew,

This Russian is sick and not recommended to hibernate right now.The cause is not important right now and taking care of him is, It sounds like a URI and the difficult breathing is causing him stress.....he needs vet care asap. Keep him warm, day and night to help boost his immune system.Daily soaks is recommended to keep him hydrated till you can get to vet.Keep his progress posted for us.

anytime you run into anything medical that you believe may not be directly related to stress or environmental factors, it's best to at least call a qualified vet.
