A Male Goblin marker we picked up from..

rkreptiles Dec 27, 2006 05:09 PM

We recently picked this 05 male Goblin Marker up from Ralph Davis. Hopefully he will sire some good clutches this season as we have a few females set aside for him including an imported unproven YB female.

Goblin marker? Now that's a term I haven't heard yet. What's a Goblin marker look like/mean?

Goblin Marker animals are from Ralph Davis Line of Het Ivories. His original Goblin Male is totally different in apperance from any other Het ivory out there. When he first started the project He called the babies that looked similar to the sire "Goblin Marker" animals. He proved out last year that the "super Goblin" is an Ivory looking animal. Below are some links to the information on them. My male is from his `05 clutch #21 from Breeding a Goblin male to an abbarent striped female. He proved out in `05 clutch #32 that they produced an ivory. He is keeping the name "Goblin", "Goblin marker" and "Super Goblin" to distinquish his line from everyone else's lines.

IIIIIII gotcha. His goblin looks a lot different than your snake, that's because it's only het for goblinism? (Try saying that word out loud, it's kinda fun!)

Beautiful snake either way, and thanks for the links and the info! Good luck on your breeding projects!

Goblin Markers are not het for the Goblin but are het for the super goblin which is an ivory. I like his line because his founding male is a screamer and who knows what else might be in the genes with this male from the breeding that produced him.

Rob, nice snake, it looks like an above average YB to me. I like the look, and who knows what the YB's and Goblins will unlock next.
