Cinnamon Pastel

Proven Genetic by: Graziani
Genetic type: Co-Dom
Year Proven Genetic: 2002
Crosses:
1-Pewter (Cinnamon Pastel x Pastel)
2-Super Cinn (Cinnamon Pastel x Cinnamon Pastel)
3-Silver Bullet (Super Cinnamon x Pastel)
4-Silver Streak (Cinnamon x Super Pastel)

Cinnamon Story-See Graziani Reptile's website.

Discription-Dark base with tan markings, and various shades of brown, with Cinnamon coloring replacing the yellow or gold markings on normal Ball Pythons. White belly and white flames on the sides. In exceptional specimens, the circle patterns are almost red.

Why purchase a Cinnamon?
*The Cinnamon Pastel varies in appearance, from a subdued brown snake lighter in color than a dark normal, to a dark brown and Cinnamon snake with white creeping up the sides of the snake almost half way up the side. Have you seen the Pewter? The Pewter alone makes the Cinnamon worth buying, with Cinnamon Spiders, Cinnamon Mojaves and other crosses sure to please. The Silver Streak is also a great looking cross. I think selective breeding is going to have a possitive impact on the Cinnamon's future, weeding out the unattractive specimens, and increasing the cinnamon color, and flames. Maybe more than in most snakes, buying a NICE Cinnamon is a must. Do not bite on the low price of an unattractive Cinnamon, start your collection with the best of the best, and you will not be sorry. A stunning Cinnamon is a very nice snake, an unattractive is barely nicer than a normal.

Do I own one?
*Technically yes, although I have not received him. We are waiting until this cold weather in Southern California warms up a bit for safe shipping.

I would like to give credit to Graziani Reptiles and the Snakekeeper's site, where I got some of the information posted here.

Since I do not have any pics to post (some of you will think that is a good thing those of you with Cinns, Black Pastels, and the crosses, please post some pics! Also, feel free to add to this list, post your thought, critique my information, etc. LET'S SEE SOME PICS!

Here is a female I am hoping she is a cinnimon ..One of my project balls that I got this last season from some imported females .I have a lot of kick butt project balls I am working with and this female is one of my favorites !!

Sorry I have not got any good pics of her yet .This pic just does not do her any justice .

First two are pics of my female cinny/black pastel/or maybe just a nice granite...she is a bush baby that has a few traits of various morphs...hopefully she will prove out in some way. The third is a pic of my pewter makers.. Cinnies are great for all the different things they can make....I cannot wait to make some hypo cinnies. Best of all...THEY DON'T MAKE WHITE SNAKES.

As usual, checking my vast photo collection I can confirm the following Cinny/Blk Pastel crosses:

Cinny/Blk Pastel X Pastel (Pewter/Blk Pewter)
Gniazdowski's Cinny/Blk Pastel line X BLONDE Pastel
Paradox Albino Blk Pastel
Amber (Amir's line of Cinnamon X Pastel)
Cinnamon Mojave
Cinnamon Sable
Cinnamon Spider (Cinnabee)
Cinnamon X Genetic BlackBack
Cinnamon X Granite
Cinnamon X Pastel X Spider (Cinnamon Bumblebee, Pewter Spider or whatever NERD has named the cross)
Cinnamon X Super Pastel (Sterling Pastel)
Blk Pastel X Super Pastel (Silver Streak)
Super Cinnamon X Pastel (Silver Bullet)
Super Blk Pastel X Pastel (Not sure if this cross has a name different than 'Silver Bullet' to differentiate between the two. It IS darker than Graziani's Silver Bullets)
Blk Pastel X Co-dom Stripe
Cinny X possible Fire

Sorry if I repeated any of the crosses you listed in your original post.
If I've made mistakes, anyone is more than welcome to correct me.

Here's a BHB male Cinny..Im hoping for Pewter's this year...

EmberBall Dec 28, 2006 07:22 PM

Thanks guys/gals. The Cinns are varied, and the Black Pastels have nice orange coloring. A good morph for sure, and now that the prices have come down, I think every collection will have one sooner than later. I am still waiting for some cross pics!
