Well new years is in a couple of days and you know what that means time to go buy turtles. In thailand the tradtion is to let turtles go on new years day for good luck. My girlfriends mother told me about a guy at a market selling turtles so i went to check it out. He had 6 very large asian box turtles for sale they were the size of foot balls, and cost about 3 american dollars. He also had some cat fish and a snail-eatting turtle. All the turtles were wild caught from a park on the other side of the city. He would not let me take pictures of the turtles but they all seemed to be in very good health.
