Feeding Question...

GDeHavenIV Dec 29, 2006 07:22 PM

My boa likes to be on the cooler side all the time. He hasn't been eating lately. I figured it might be because it's the winter but he really hasn't ever has a problem eating before. Should I raise the temperature in the enclosure a little before feeding?

Thanks!

Nope !
Just let him alone and try feeding again after about 3 weeks.
Try again after another 3 weeks, useing smaller then usual sized prey.

If he is spending all of his time on the cool side, then the warm side may be a bit to warm, what are your temps?

GDeHavenIV Dec 30, 2006 01:23 PM

I think my temps are good.

I have it 88-92 on the hot side and it drops down to 80-82 on the cool side. Plus, my humidity is pretty steady at around 70%.

I think I just had some bad rats.

Is there a right way to thaw them out? Anyone have any tips?
