I've never bought from Tom - but everything I've heard about him, he is a complete class act. And not just what I've heard about him here, everywhere.
I went with the breeder I went with because I wanted a female (I have a male). I saw tom post earlier this month that he had 4.1 (4 males and 1 female). On the 26th when I had money to spend on myself, I went to the classifieds to see if he had reposted and still had the female - when I saw the NewAgeReptile post I querried, and when he responded that he had a female, I bit because I didn't know if Tom still had one, and I really didn't want to wait for 2007 clutches to get a little girl.
However - even if Tom does still have a little girl, I'm glad I bought from NewAgeReptile because now I know they too are a class act vendor, and he has other breeds I may want in the future (as does Tom).
Anyway, not only was his response fast (could have been luck - no one is on 24/7) but after his initial quote, before I even had read it, he responded again saying he found a slightly cheaper shipping option. He didn't have to do that.
He made sure he knew my night time temps, sent out the day after I paid (I paid night of 26th, he shipped on 27th) and sent me tracking, followed up to make sure it arrived OK, and the snake was packed better than any snake I've ever bought through the classifieds here. Real class act outfit. I will do business with them again (and with Tom - I want some of his stuff too, some of his brooksi stock)

Anyway - yes, herps are very addictive.
But just for the record, choosing an MBK is an excellent choice. Many people have said it before, I'll say it again - every getula collection needs an MBK. They are absolutely stunning snakes.
