Hi!
we just rescued a uro yesterday from a woman who is dying of cancer. the cage was filthy, and he? had about 2 layers of peeling skin. we have soaked him twice and most has come off. he had undertank heaters and hotrock, on sand. we have him in a plastic tub, on paper towels, with a heat light and new uvb bulb. we have to get a higher watt bulb in the morning, as this one is only getting about 105. he has not eaten his seed that she sent or any of the greens that i have offered. he is friendly and likes being held. i don't have any idea of an age - he is orange and black, 12.5", and 298 gr. i will try to get pix up soon. his toenails were curved under and we have trimmed them, but they still seem too long. i have been reading the care sheets most of today to get some info, but any other help/advice would be great. also,we want to build matching cages for him and our beardies. i have seen some really nice ones on here, and some building instructions would be great.
