i was just thinking that maybe the threads would be easier to search of the topic list was greybarred. i used a few forums that use greybar schemes, and they are pretty easy on the eye...

If you use "find new" or "today's posts," it's in greybar. Also I use header two, which is "Grey Tone."
I agree it's much better, but it was felt that things should be kept as similar as possible in "look" at least for basic navigation and display. But that is the kind of thing we can change at any time, based on user feedback.

....but if you click on the User Pref there are several things you can change and one has somthing where you can change from original(or maybe classic??) to gray tone. I'm not the most computer lit person (I don't even have a real pc, just webTV) so I'm not sure that's what your after - just noticed it while I was changing my sig and thought I'd mention it.
