indigos on a STAMP! sort of...

I went to the post office today, where I saw the page of stamps "honoring" the wildlife of southern Florida. Birds, gators, crocs and a snake. The key identifies it as "Eastern indigo snake Drymarchon corais"... and upon closer inspection only about five dorsal scales of the snake actually make it onto a stamp, the rest of the snake is just part of the page.
However it is very nice that the USPS does recognize native herpetofauna in these collections.

A few herps made it onto stamps... An alligator and a croc have their own stamps. Nice stuff for stamp collectors.

I have those same one here in Ga. You have to give them an A for effort. Glad to see them recognized though!
