Ok, a red light will depend on your frogs, I wouldn't use it all night (I'm assuming its for viewing) but turning it on to look at your frogs is alright. (don't use it as the light that is on all day mind you.) That said, I have one frog that refuses to even get up when there is any light on at night, including the moonlight bulbs and the red light bulbs. Like I mentioned in another post, studies are not definitive on wether or not frogs can see the red light.

As too keeping more than one frog in a 20 gallon, I would have to say no. Red eyes are not the largest frogs, but they do need their space. One frog would be fine in that, but if you want more frogs or wish to breed them, you are going to need more space.

Well the tank size is questionable, I have 2 in a 29 gal and had originally thought of being able to house a few more but really there is not that much room in there. I wouldn't put any more in mine. They don't need other frogs and they like their space for hunting.

As far as the heat lamp, I'd just be careful, alot of the lights can be too much and dry out the tank. Let your gauges be the guide. Humidity is very important.
