Female Fort Collins,Colorado Bull

kfisher29 Dec 30, 2006 07:50 PM

Heres a female fort collins bull I caught in my front yard last year. Its hard to capture the yellow. This spring is going to be crawling with snakes because of all the snow we have been getting. Can't wait to see what comes out of those prairie dog holes! Kevin

I've lived in Central Florida most of my life, and I forget that these animals are quite capable of surviving a Northern winter. I wonder if snakes that don't have to hibernate (as long) live longer? Shorter? Get bigger faster? This pic of a black racer (I think) was taken yesterday. Snakes crawl around here pretty much 365 days a year.
