What is a good first monitor?

deryiop Dec 30, 2006 10:06 PM

I would eventualy like to have a crocodile monitor, but I know that will be WAY in the future, Anyway, I was thinking of a savanah or blue tailed, and would like any suggestions on which one of these would be the best or if a different species would be better. This is so I can look for information on that one particular species. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a wonderfull day!

P.S. I am a creative speller.

a first time monitor. a sav would be ok. or u can go w/ a smaller sized monitor like ackies(ridge tailed monitors) they arent so bad... a blue tailed can be very skittish at times. i dont recommend them as a first time monitor.yeah.. i'd love to have a croc mon too one day... one day.

They're all wild caught, so be sure to have a fecal done to ensure it doesn't have parasites.
