Help my retic wont eat

jz9119air Jan 01, 2007 07:23 PM

i have had my retic for about a year now. he was always very aggressive when he smelled food. and would always eat as often as i would give him food. in fact after his first meal he always looked for more. latley(in the past 2 months) he has not been himself. i usually feed him frozen, but after he refused that i got him live. which he usually goes right after. i gave him 2 live and he ate one of them. that was about 3 weeks ago. since i have tried numerous times to give him the second one but he wont eat it. the temp of his cage is about 80-85 f and i got the lights on a timer for day/night cycles. the night bulbs are 1 is infared the other is night moonlamp bulb. i live in vegas so it is very dry here the humidity was always around 15% but i just added a humidifier and now its around 60%. other than the eating he seems to be acting normal. i dont know what to do please help.
