I am aware that it has been long established that dropping temperatures can have an effect on feeding response, however, has anyone studied the correlation between lighting and feeding response? The reason I ask is that I have recently partitioned off an area of my operation to the extent that it only receives filtered light of relatively low intensity. Two or so weeks afterward, one-third of the animals in this area went off feed. Mind you, the rest of them continued to feed as normal. Shortly after reestablishing proper lighting, the animals went back on feed. Your thoughts?
