HELP ME WITH MALE BALL PYTHON #2

ok well i havent been able to find any local breeders. can some 1 help me find 1? i like in kennesaw Georgia. and i would be greatfull if some 1 could please tell me a few physical feature ways 2 tell male and female ball pythons apart

There is no way to tell a male BP buy outward appearance only. You can look at a few things like tail length and spur length/curvature.

However these are nowhere near 100%. And if you have very little experience with sexing BP's anyway, I would say it is even lower.

If I were you I would get a Het albino male. You can get them almost as cheap as normals now and it might be a little more interesting than breeding normals. I am assuming you plan on breeding because you say you "need a male". Just make sure you do your research and are prepared for the added costs when you start breeding.

There are only two ways to tell sex.Popping and probing,.........Popping is done when the animal is a hatchling and should be done by someone with experience. The other probing is done with a probe and sex is determined by the distance a probe travels when inserted . Both procedures should be done by someone that is familar. The one other way thats not !00% is done with sub adults and adults. Males will combat usually if housed together , Kind of a pushing match but sometimes striking occurs and can be dangerous to both. I would recommend a breeder with hatchlings.
