I am new to the whole system and would like to introduce myself.
I have been working with snakes for almost 2 years now. My collection include 4 Boas and 4 cornsnakes.
My first question is when do people usually start giving there snakes back heat? My female has been off feed and lowered temps for 2 mnths now. I placed my largest male with her and have noticed some copulating. He still will not leave her alone. I am wondering when should I bring back normal temps. Right now it is about 92 in the basking area during the day but drops to 73 at night. If she is gravid and i am using heatlamps should I maybe get a nighttime bulb like blue or red and provide a basking area even at night? also at what point do I seperate?
