... all of the RS pics were taken outside on my back deck, late afternoon. Natural sunlight, no flash, macro setting on. All of these pics are absolutely true to life color, no image enhancing. I did crop most of the shots abit

... this guy is CBB and unrelated to the girls. His orange is more of a true orange whereas the girls are a deeper reddish-orange. He is coloring up tremendously. I got him as a newborn and his head had some color but muddled with black and his spotting was a pale orange. VERY happy with the way this boy turning out

... this girl is a sibling (litter mate) to the other RS girl. When I got them this girl ate just fine but was signifigantly smaller then her sister. I suspect they were housed and fed together before I got them as she put some size on rather quickly for me. All of the RS's eat F/T pinks. This girls was darker, somewhat muddled with some black on her head but she always displayed the darker reddish-orange spotting. She's making up for lost time as her color is getting bolder ! Also she has "strange" eyes ... They are a copper color. The other RS's have much darker eye color ...

... all of the RS's dined on pinks the day before the pics were taken ... that's why they appear so nice & plump

Really gorgeous snakes, mt!! Obviously I need a better camera, so I can start taking some better pics of my girl. (still don't know for sure if she's a girl or not, guess it doesn't really matter to me) I've really gotten hooked on seeing the puget sound (sorry if I spelled it wrong, new to all the names) the blue ones are really beautiful to me. Some day, when I become more skilled at caring for snakes, maybe I'll look into getting one.

hey Sidney ... thanks ! You need a dig camera that has a macro setting at the very least. w/o the macro you cannot get the up close pics of garters.

best of luck and thanks again ~!

Those are beautiful snakes ideed. Was wondering where a person could find some CBB of the red flame or the blue garters, does anyone know of a breeder that offers CBB for sale?
Thanks
Jeff
