JUVI WILL NOT EAT! HELP!

i have a juvi (not neonate but young) jungle carpet python that even after shedding has no interest in food. he sheds in one piece, has bright colors, and looks otherwise healthy but he refuses all food from pinks to pups to parts of meeces, live or dead, to small mice, you name it. no interest. i know juvis need to eat more than adults. any advice? thank you!

I would post this in the "Python:Morelia" section of forum, that's what genus your Carpet Python belongs to.......It depends on how young your snake is, and some other husbandry factors (temp, humidity) ect..,.......but I believe this is their prime breeding season, and it is possible it stopped feeding in search of a mate,....this is typical behavior for many types of snakes to do......also, did it ever eat for you in the past, and suddenly just stopped since it became cooler?,previous temp. and so forth, are all questions they will want to know..........hope this helped..................Doug
