What do you guys think of this?

About twelve years ago(1995), a good friend of mine caught this sweet looking "Miami" phase female in Broward County, FL. (just above Miami/Dade County) as a juvenile of about sixteen inches. When I visited his house one day and saw this snake, I was VERY impressed with what I saw......I was NOT going to leave his house without that snake!!.....At the time, I had MANY different types of snakes, and was involved with with various breeding projects, so I offered him a "snowcorn" hatchling, and an "anerythristic" hatchling in trade for that w/c "little gem" he had. He eventually agreed to part with it, especially when he later saw how badly I wanted it........She later went on to become a very productive breeder, and had many clutches of eggs, she even mated with Doug Beard's "Miami" corn in an aquarium at a reptile show in front of hundreds of people!!.......out of all the many various corns I've had through the years, she was definitely one of my favorites!..............Doug

Hey Doug,
She truly is a beauty... but there was something you said that kind of made me sit back and say...BUMMER.
You said "she WAS definitely one of my favorites"
Does that mean you no longer have her, or worse, she's dead?
That would be a shame.

Yes, I had to "down-size" the collection some years ago and sold her.........I really wish I still had her today though, she was a magnificent representation of the "Miami" phase Cornsnake. It seems like every snake owner/breeder has let go certain snakes that they later wished they had not, but at least she didn't die on me as you asked about......thanks for asking..............Doug
