APLAXAR Jan 03, 2007 06:04 PM

who is everybody getting their horn and silk worms from? i used to get them from American Cricket Ranch but they dont list them anymore on their web site, i would do mulberry farms but they ask a ridiculous amount of money for shipping.

thanks
Adam

O.k. O.k. O.k., you may just have to suck it up and pay the shipping. You don't want these worms sitting in a box somewhere for 3 or 4 days just to save a few bucks. I hatch out my own silkies and only have to pay for shipping once a month for the eggs and chow. It's pretty easy if you are serious about it.

Thanks for getting back to me with alittle Floyd, made me laugh.
well i really like to have a varied diet for my frog, she gets alittle bit of everything, so ifiguered that i would ask here because there are more serious hobbiests on the chameleon forums, (you have to be with chamleons). i think i found a good source for some silks, i will try it out and see how it goes, where do you get the eggs from?

LOL, glad I could make you laugh....
I have a Whites Tree Frog almost as big as yours She LOVES her silkies and goliaths! You can get eggs for silkies from either mulberry farms or silkworm wholesale. I've had eggs hatch out after 2month of being in the refridgerator. And I would much rather deal with silkies then crickets anyday!!!
