new bairdi's!

So I've been waiting quite a while to get my hands on a few of these guys... and my wait is finally over! I'm really excited to see these two grow up. Barley has some pretty signifigant reddish-orange interstitial color already, and Hops shows more orangey-gold colors...

I don't know why in the world you want a couple of those ugly snakes.
You should be ashamed.
Tell you what...Just to be nice I'll let you send them my way so you don't have to be embarrased for having such hideous creatures.
Just kidding...LOL
Very nice
can't wait to see progression pics.

draybar,

i'm in the same boat. got 2 bairdi from vivid after lots of research and some helpful insight from draybar. of course your magnificent photos are what put me over the edge.

my bairdi are very timid and prefer hide as soon as they detect movement in the room. i realize babies are always more timid than adults, but do they chill out at all or is this likely to be their adult personality.

They do tend to be a bit more skittish when young.
I keep my four adults in display tanks.
They each have their own personalities but it is pretty common to see them out and about exploring their enclosures.
