Has anyone ever housed a red tail boa and a jungle carpet together without problems?
I think a better question would be if anyone had housed two snakes together with problems. For the most part it isnt a good idea.
Cons:
1. Cannibalism
2. One sick snake turns into two sick snakes
3. Different enviroment requirements
4. Stressed animals
5. Easier record keeping
Pros:
1. Saves Space
If you're getting another snake I would suggest getting another cage as well. These are the reasons I only keep two snakes together while breeding them... and I've had both reason #1 and #2 happen so far in the short breeding season and wouldn't imagine keeping them together forever with potiental problems like these.

i don't know if this helps you at all, but at my local petstore they are boarding a ball python and a boa together. I guess the owner has always had them in the same tank for over 4 years and did not want them seperated
I have in my early days. I wouldnt recommend it. the boa is much heavier and stronger than the carpet python, it was a more aggresive feeder, and it liked to knock over all of the carpet pythons perches.
I own both snakes now, in seperate cages. Neither snake has ever been with another snake. I just wanted to save space. I guess it was a bad idea.
I read that pythons have a kind of bacteria in their poop that makes boas really sick. I'm not vet, but better safe then sorry.
