feeding

apocalyp Jan 04, 2007 09:10 PM

When feeding multiple mice to your kings in one feeding, how long do you wait to give them the second mouse?

I tried feeding my 2 foot long blotched king a small adult mouse yesterday and after getting most of it in, it regurgitated the mouse.

I went back to a hopper today and she took it right away and theres barely a difference in her size. She's also been roaming her tank since I fed her. Is she looking for more food?

Any advice appreciated.

My king is on two pinkies at the mo and I tend to put both in the tank at the same time and he eats them one after the other. I am feeding him dead pinkies though, so not sure if the same would work for live food. I am resonably new to the whole thing, but hope this wee bit of advice helps.

My snakes that eat F/T are offered the second mouse after it is completely swallowed. I think its good to feed them in succession because they are still in the "feeding mode."
