Japanese Forest Ratsnake in the US?

Are Japanese Forest Ratsnake (Elaphe conspicillata) avaliable in the US?

have they been bred here at all?

Z, there is to my knowledge only one fellow in the US producing conspicillata. He is Rex Knight down in Florida. And he has a waiting list a mile long. What section of Brooklyn do you live in? I was from Gravesend before I moved up to the wilds of Massachusetts in the late '80's.

I agree with you. Mandarins and japanese forest rats are (in my opinion) very beautiful snakes. I'd love to work with them and hope to one day.

Cunningham elaphe has them listed on their website.

Napa valley serpentarium has had pics of them in their albums before, don't know if they breed or not.
