hypos, hypos and more hypos......

shannon brown Jan 05, 2007 01:49 PM

some of the nicer hypos here.

this is the best tri-colored hypo I have produced so far.She is het for anery and is ready to breed in a couple months.

this is my favorite snake in my whole collection.tri-colored extreme hypo male poss het anery and amel.I will be proving him out this year and if he is het for both anery and amel I have a great chance of producing the first pearl.

one of my best extremes.this big female will go for the first time this year.

heres a real killer ghost from Mike Falcon thats ready to breed this year also. Its from the extreme line so I have my fingers crossed.

this is one of the cleanest hypos I have ever seen as a adult.wide banded and no tipping at four foot.

this female produced by Mark Bailey was super clean as a baby.hope she throws some killer babies this year.

this is a male produced by Bruce Skipper.I like the orange on him and will breed him to the above tri-colored hypo.

this female is very important because she proved out this year to be het for amel and anery.I have two chances this year (the tri-colored extreme and a ghost pos het amel)to produce a pearl.any snows produced from this girl by either male will be 100% visual pearl (triple homozygous).

this male is the cleanest non extreme I have ever seen.no tipping at all on him.I will match him with the clean wide banded female and see what happens.

funny looking at the old school hypos now days.I produced this girl in (99) and she was stunning then.LOL......

Well,I have more hypos but nothing really flashy.Enjoy...

Thanks,

A pearl is a (probably unseen as of yet but maybe not) triple homozygous.
See,there has been some snows produced from triple hets problem is you can't tell by looking weather or not its a hypo snow (pearl). Its the same thing with the hybinos vs tang albinos.
The only way to know its a triple geme showing snake when it hatches is if both parents are hypo already. That does include ghosts also as its just a hypo/anery.

Anyway,There is a small chance of there already being a pearl in somebodys collection but without proof breeding you will never know.

A pearl will replace all three morphs, double hets, triple hets etc..all in one.Plus the great thing about a pearl is no matter what you breed to it you will never produce another poss het for anything.

Hypos are my favorite morph, and those are bloody amazing esp. that extreme tricolor
