My two newest ball pythons.

My 1st post in this part of Kingsnake, and nothing no one here hasn't seen before a 1.0 'Pastel' and 0.1 'Spider' but I still think they're beautiful. The spider was a pain to photograph, as she did not like the lights and just wanted to stay curled up in a ball.

Nice snakes and beautful pics. How did you get the first 3 pics without a background ? Very cool. Claude

Thanks for the compliment.

The 1st 3 were shot on white seamless paper, so it just appears as an infinite white background.

The black shots were on black acrylic with a black Civichrome velour background.

Best part about these types of shots, no photoshopping needed other than to crop and resize. The hi-rez images of these look much better than these less than 100k ones.

Nice animals and very nice pics! Could you post a pic of the setup u used to make the the dark pics??

I use a piece of black acrylic with Civichrome black velour placed about 2-3 feet behind the object to be photographed. If shot right everything should be pure black.
