He still sheds about once every month to month and a half. I assume that indicates he's still growing at a good pace.

I can't seem to get it to work. If anyone could take a stab at getting a length it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking, Don.

Im surprised I didnt see any of your blood on the floor.lol

If lead paint is so deadly why do they make it so delicious?

Alot of it is a big bluff. He is always quick to puff up and hiss but rarely does he bite with authority. Amazingly alot of bites don't draw blood. He'll eat frozen thawed rodents while being handled and during that time we seem to have a temporary truce. When done eating he just gets pissed again.
By the way, the floor squares are 8"x8".
Incredible picture. Thanks for sharing. I have always wanted some of those but I am addicted to Kings... awesome pic.

I've got more kings than anything. It is cool to handle giant colubrids though, even if they aren't quite "kingsnake" tame. People think your alot braver than you know you really are!
Don

Me too, I have at least 40 kings, quite a few Pits too. No Asian or European Rats yet. I have some Milks and a few Pythons and of course a couple of Corns. Some day I will try some other things but for now I have my hands full as is.That's a pretty big King...I have some Brooksi that are quite large as well as a 5 foot Mexican Black. Imagine a 9 foot Getula? Tom Stevens

Just terrific shots. Looking at those pictures i'd say 7ft. Thans for sharing.
The size on slender animals like these can be deceiving. When you stretch them out they just keep going. This guy has to be at least near 9'.
Don
I get a little close to 10 feet.
Is this possible, Don?

Thanks. I figured between 9 and 10'. I remember seeing an add here on kingsnake selling a 12 footer. Never saw the snake but I'd have to say it's certainly possible.

AWESOME! That snake looks as intimidating as my Yellow Tail Cribos!
Great shot!
You should have heard the 4-letter words that came out of my mouth when I opened the first two posts.
to see one that size. This male of mine was 9'3" when I last measured him about a year ago. This picture is 3 or 4 years old. Randy
