What morph?

gophersnake13 Jan 05, 2007 09:21 PM

Sorry for the crappy photo work on this pic, but I got this snake a while back, and being a kingsnake guy I'm not sure what morph he is. He's a great snake, I'm just not sure what to call it. And included is a drawing of a grey rat snake to make up for the crappy pic you guys have to endure.

I thought it was, but the way the saddles disappear after about the 5th one. This one does'nt have as much pink as some I've seen in pics online so I wanted to make sure.

What does the belly look like?

It's hard to see in the pictue, but are there light colored belly checkers, or is the belly uniformly white, or something else?

Its totally patternless.

That is not a corn. It is a black rat snake. Possibly a yellow or everglades but I am almost posative it is a black rat. BTW my yearling female is fading the same way.

This one does'nt have nearly that much orange/red as the one in your pic, but the pattern is very similar. (Mines color is more pinkish, I'll post it in the NA Rat snake forum and see if they can confirm.

That is because mine are "orange" albinos. It is king of like a sunglow is an amel... Check out the baby pics. They faded a lot.....
