I obtained 1.2 of these in 2003 and have always kept them housed separately side by side (male in the middle) which has perhaps driven the male nuts as he could always view the females on each end. And in the photo, the male being the blue specimen on top and the female the green below. Last night I fed them and afterward misted them and then introduced the male to a female's cage for the first time ever. The first minute he touched and saw her, he wrapped the stick and tried to lock it. He then put his belly on the glass and tried to lock that. It was quite interesting (funny too) to view this against the misted glass as his vent was contracting and the poor sucker was trying to grasp something. A few minutes later he finally found her and was able to lock but had troubles as he was too anxious. Finally he got to the right point on her and they are still locked as of this morning. When he is done in a couple weeks, he will get some time off and be introduced to the other female.
