I think it must be the tomatoes...

boaphile Jan 06, 2007 04:21 PM

I think it must be the tomatoes. We feed all our rats an average of two whole tomatoes each month. We grow them, rats and tomatoes, year round up here. It isn't easy up north you know. I think the red in those tomatoes must be bleeding through.

They seem to like them a lot. These Pastel Albino Sunglows like the rats a lot too... What do you all yawl think?

thems a whole lotta maters you grow up there in the wild tundra.....I tell you what!!!!

So how about some more Pastel Sunglow pix, or maybe some of them "top secret" critters from the "Boa Black Hole"? Speaking of the "Boa Black Hole", I was wearing my bona fide Boaphile t-shirt today, not even really thinking anything about it, when someone asked me....."Hey, what is a Boaphile anyway?" I forget sometimes that most people don't share the love I have of boa constrictors!! Too bad for them, I say!!

Did you tell him "what" a Boaphile is Denny? Something incomprehensible. Something hideous. Something obnoxious. Something mothers never want their children to become. I think Willy Nelson sang about that. Something worse than a freak you might see only read about in a Steven King or Charles Darwin Novel. Something so indescribable that it would be impossible to describe with mere words and a picture would be too terrible to look upon. Is that what you told him Denny? Is it? Is it? I would hope so.

I just told him that "The Boaphile" is a kindly bald gentelman, much older than I, who lives in the middle of Minnesota with only his maters and boas to keep him company. That he keeps himself locked in his shop with his glue gun as his sole companion, but he makes really cool plastic cages for the rest of the reptile loving public to keep their critters in.

Someone please notify the Nobel committee about this selfless man!!!!

0.1 BCI- Pheobe

I find Pheobe to be the most agreeable female I have ever come across. Dinner is cheap, she never wants to eat out, she can't talk, she's deaf and she doesn't care if I see other women. :P
