Do most of you name all of your snakes? All 16 of mine are named (just like my dog and cats). I have seen a few pics posted with names in the desciptions. I imagine a lot of you have very large collections. Are the numbers just for the babies that are for sale?
I realize I'm a little bit crazy, but hopefully, it's not worse than I know..lol.

ALL of my snakes are named or are in the process of being named. the only thing i dont plan on naming are my 4 chickens...b/c well, they are chickens i'm sure you can see below all the different names some(very few) come with names which makes it easier for me. and others dont. but i have a list of possible names to be

Have you considered "Jaws" for your snapping turtle? Maybe "Pinch" or "Lock Jaw"? Good luck.

Jaws just might work! shes so cute! i dont know why she was in the middle of the road in my neighborhood. all we have is a lil run off creek and he was just chillin in the middle of the road. still need to take pics of her. her nose is missing so its just a "hole" i guess you could say. and when i go into the reptile room to see her she looks up at me and i scratch her lil back and she puts he head under the water and blows bubbles. shes a HOOT! thanks for the idea!!

I have named all of my sexed tarantulas, my thayeri is still unnamed because I can't choose between Attila and Vitus-- Any of you guys care to help?

I doubt it would help you, but i name my snakes by the alphabet. like abegail and Bernard are siblings. Cobra and Dunesbury came at the same time. then there was Cassy- well, that was from ken casstevens and it was kind of a thing i did cause he's a wonderful snake guy. and her mom Emily. and it just kinda went on. now i'm trying to fill in names with letters i couldnt think of. like V is what my husband thought would be a good name. i dunno. keeps it interesting for me kinda like a game

Not yet, no more than my cats do, but I have hope. lol

All of my snakes have names, and I hope all of my future ones will too. I'm a bit silly because (except for the cal kings) each species has a theme for their name. My Thayeris are movie characers, my Pits are all aircraft, and I just picked up a couple Nelson's Milks that are motorcycle names.

So, if you are crazy, then I must be really nuts!!

What a great idea!

Not all of my snakes have names, but some do. A florida king named Augustus Gloop. An Eastern king named Samara. And unlike Samara from the movie, "The Ring", anything placed in my eastern king's cage has only Seven Seconds, not Seven Days. A few corns named Selena, Miranda, Hugo, & Haze. I'm sure I'll have names for all of them one day.

Hello everybody, my name is Rich and I usually haunt the Kingsnake forum. This morning it was slow over there so I'd did a search and wound up here.

Imagine my suprise when I stumbled onto this thread, with the same theme of one I started at kingsnake called, "Easy Question To Answer"....

Again, Imagine my suprise when I saw that Vic's thread was started 5 days before mine....
