Are antibiotics safe for a gravid female? Are there any particular ones that should be used or avoided?

In Jeff Ronnes video He says that you can and he has treated his snakes with a wide varity of drugs while gravid with no ill effects. You should talk to him. Rich

are currently used for RI in boids will not cause any problems with the development of the young. The only issue would be that they are dosed correctly, as a few of them can be toxic if the standard dosage is exceeded. This is specifically the case with the aminoglycoside antibiotics such as amikacin, tobramycin, and gentamicin.
