This snake is similar to my Cherryville Lubbock Red. The first 8-10 saddles are different. The rest of the snake appears to be pretty close.

Well,everybody is saying san diego but I have to say pacific.I would guess it from northern Calif maybe from near sacramento/vaciville?

You can't win them all, Shannon is two for three. if you guessed San diego you got it right. This female was wild caught as a hatchling in 1999 In Ontario CA near Calpoly by a friend of mine. I was always really impressed with her burnt orange ground coloration.

Damn! Missed it, but that snake looks like an integrade. It's got the "Y" on the back of the neck like a lot of SD's have, but the clean chain pattern looks like it's got some Great Basin in it. Most of the SD's I've seen have a messier dorsal pattern.
