Did anybody else ever notice...

Did anybody else ever notice that the best colored Jungles are never the really whacked out crazy patterned ones? At least that is the way it seems to be to me. The really great colored animals can have interesting patterns that are slightly aberrant but the really whacky patterned Jungles don't have as crazy color. There probably are some exceptions to that rule. Maybe I have this impression because there aren't near as many really whacky patterned Jungles out there as not. I could have the wrong impression. This isn't the fairest of comparisons but this is a really whacky patterned Jungle I have:

His pattern is off the chart crazy. He doesn't have the crazy color to go with the pattern, but that doesn't matter to me as he will be breeding female that DOES have crazy color. Most likely one of my lucky Monster Tail Hypos will be seeing him next breeding season.

While this is a Monster Tail Hypo Jungle I also have:

This Monster Tail Hypo Jungle would be outrageously colored even if he wasn't a Jungle but the Jungle this certainly helps push him father up the color ladder. Crazy huh?

Does anyone have a really whacked out crazy Jungle that also has crazy beautiful color? I'd love to some and some day I hope to be making a few.

He doesn't have as crazy a pattern as the one you posted but his color is great. He's got much more pink in person.

He's in with this female right now so that should help the color part.

Jeff,
I think that is partially true, but I have definitely seen some awesome wacky pattern ones also. I think that after more selective breeding with the Jungles, we will start seeing more and more wacky ones that have the color, contrast and cleanliness of the less aberrant ones we are seeing now. The monstertail jungles that you produced have to be some of the reddest jungles that I have ever seen, they look awesome.
