Anery A or Anery B...Hypo or Normal

mullinsn2000 Jan 07, 2007 05:01 PM

I have two new snakes that I got almost a week ago. One is a dark silver color and I posted it on another site and got these three choices. Some said Anery A, some said Anery B (Charcoal) and some said possible pewter. Would like to know people thoughts on here. The orange one I was told either hypo or normal. Thanks for any help.

Hevent you posted these same snakes here at least once before? Those look like different views of the snakes you asked about about a week ago.

Yes I posted them on Wednesday I think, the post was called "New Addition" I recieved no replies. I posted it on cornsnakes.com and got the multiple choices. I know some people post on both sites but I thought there might be some people who only post on this site. Was just looking for an answer didn't mean to make anyone mad by trying one last time for someones opinion who knows more than me.

wow. Why so offensive?
I know someone posted pics of the exact same looking snakes before and got responses and then knew you posted recently. I was just curious as to why you posted so much.
Don't be so sensitive

Not sure why they are not showing up on your screen. Thanks.

I am not being sensitive. You responded to my post by asking me if I posted these before so I told you yes, named the thread, and told you I I had no responses. I posted again because the pics were a little better. I believe you meant to say I was being defensive and not offensive, but either way I was being neither.

I know it's sometimes dificult to post good quality "full" shots, but I gotta' tell ya', those are some pretty SAD photos to use for identification purposes........see if you can post some better "full animal" shots, and we can better tell you what's going on.................Doug

I am bad at photography. I am using a 5.0 mp camera with the macro setting like I was told to do and most of the photos turn out blurry or dark.

I thought they were a little better too. I am not good at photographing things. People on this forum suggested to use the macro setting and they are a little better but still either dark or blurry. Maybe I have the wrong kind of lighting? I will see if I can install some flourescent lights in the snake/computer room. I have the Reveal bulbs but they do not seem to help. Thanks for your response.

On Dec 30th, I responded to your post the first time, like I said, I did not respond the second because of no pictures and then this time, I did not respond because you already knew my opinion, and there were others that posted. Not that it matters, but I think hypo and possible either a light anery or dark ghost. Its hard to tell if it is charcoal

Yes, I know that you responded on Dec. 30th with some others. Thank you! I named this post Anery A or Anery B...because I thought I had some better pics than that post, I guess they are not better. The Dec. 30 post is pics from the guy that I bought the snakes from. The belived hypo pic that I took looks a little better but the other is darker. The anery (a or b) is a really dark charcoal color, darker than any Anery A pics I have seen so i was wondering if it could be a charcoal. I will breed it to prove it one way or the other. The guy I got them from got them at a petstore, he had them housed together, both adults in a 29 gal. I got a good deal, $80 for the snakes, a 29 gal. (which one is in) and a 10 gal. (no housing a very young snake). Once again I thank you for your opinion. I am not posting pics of these two anymore.
