Got an email from a German varanophil saying if salvator where as easy to sex as the nil’s iv posted photos, there would be a lot more captive produced.

First they are as easy to sex if not more, salvator heads are sexual dimorphic in structure, nil’s are almost identical when young. Both salvator and nil’s males have higher ruder tails making sexing easy, albigularis also.

Second even if all monitors would be sold in pairs, I dough their would be many more captive produced, these large species are simply to demanding for the average keeper.

Photos of salvator, Tanzanian nil’s and alnigularis
You be the judge! For me all this is crystal clear.
