Health secure cageing proper crateing and a safe facility.
Delta inspects to mske sure you are not building electronic devices and to make sure you are who you say you are. When I was inspected they did not even want to see my snake room! If you have airbills showing you shipping or receiving even with other carriers, these will help you.

In Lubbock they act like your a sinner for even thinking about shipping hots.Ryan is the only one I know who has been verified here. They also said something about makeing sure we were not makeing bombs .LOL
It was the same for me. They didn't bother to go into the snake room and just took a couple of minutes to look around. I was able to ship within a week.
All Delta wants, is to verify your address, the one thats on your DL matches your resident.
When they did my inspection years ago, they just drove up to my house and verified I lived there. They never came in, etc.. They DO NOT inspect cages, health, etc.. They are not qualified to do that!

I know they are not qualified to check for health or much of anything else yet still I sit not verified after passing two inspections. They did come in they did look at the cages they did ask us how we made a proper crate. I know a guy in another city that paid the inspector off. I am glad to see that some people can get this done becouse I can not.
Do you just call them up and tell them you want to ship hots? Does it cost any money?
Thanks for the replies

You can register on line with delta to be verified shipper.
Online sounds easy enough. I'll give it a shot.

The guy who came to inspect me was in no way qualified to verify health, safety, etc. He just came to make sure I was who I said I was. He did want to take a look at the snakes though, out of curiosity's sake. I found the whole process extremely quick and easy, and I didn't even have to pay off anyone!

I printed the paper work out, filled it out and mailed it off. Got a call 2 weeks later. Got "visited" 1 week later. Got a confirm e-mail a few days later. Verified!

It just took 3 weeks for me to get verified. The guy came in, looked around, had me fill out some paper work and i had to give him a water bill to show i lived there. Then in a week i was ready to ship.
