I recently bought a kingsnake (26 cm long). I feed it using frozen pinkies by holding the pinkies with a forcep. The snake seems to think the pinky is a predator! How can I feed it using dead prey?
(Its last owner uses live prey)

Do you know the king will take f/t??
I generally teach my snakes to take live, then prekilled, then f/t.
That said, Kings are often high strung antagonists and I would feed it by leaving it in a closed box with the prey item and give them some alone time...like half an hour.
