cage sizes

mxer_kx Jan 07, 2007 10:35 PM

hey all i know its been asked a million times but my search feature isnt working but i was wondering what is an ideal cage size for a juvenille blackthroat cause i got an extra 4'L x 2'W x 18'' H but im thinking this may not be high enough any suggestions i could possibly switch with one of my boa cages im building witch is exactly the same but 2 ft high instead of 18'' but using the 18 would be perfered as i plan on building a much bigger one in the near future and have the spare 18 for the tine

Whoa. That was the longest sentence Ive ever seen.

And you have a juvi blackthroat that will get huge. You never said how big it was but I would consider what size cage you were thinking of, and double that(at least). In which case, that cage will only last you for so long. Good luck, mate.

no no sorry i should have clarified im considering purchaseing one i am completely aware that they get nice and big i wana havea few different cages as i specified thinking the final cage would probably be around 12x4x4 but what im wondering is if the spare cage i have now wich is the 4'x2'x 18'' would be acceptable for a few months maybe 2 or 3
