Very cool corn you have there.

Is he 'just' an Okeetee or is he a morph?? He looks exactly like what I'd imagine a 'Caramel Okeetee' to look like.

Once, again very cool cornsnake you have there.
Thanks for sharing the photo.

BB

PS: Do you have a photo that shows his head better?

doesn't look like anything special, maybe a mutt....so I think you aught to send to me to take care of!!! Thats a VERY PRETTY corn!! Would be interesting to breed him to a female Abbott's and then breed the female offspring back to him to see what you get. But what ever you do, don't breed him to Jeff Cochrans Abbotts because it just wouldn't be fair for him to have one since he already has the best looking Abbott's on this site(that I've seen)!!

wisema2297 Jan 08, 2007 01:26 AM

where did he come from?

gr8snake Jan 08, 2007 08:47 AM

LOL, I got the pair last June from a local pet store. The female (Orange snakes in the picture) is very nice too, I'll have to breed them and in the future selective breed them till i get a good pair.
At the moment i have 4 Abbott line large females. and some wild Okeetee females. He will be Busy this spring.

...finding one like that. That's the prettiest Okeetee I've ever seen. If that's an eleven on the 1-10 scale, I've produced a few fives. Mine don't have that clean buckskin ground color your's does. Also, mine are not nearly that light. You've got an exceptional animal there and you'll reproduce the look through diligent selective breeding.

Kudos !!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I've seen that picture before and still can't get over just how nice that snake is.
As suggested, breed it to a nice female okeetee and work from there.
Try to find any of the females from that clutch that have more "buckskin" background and breed them back to the father.
As Don stated, with some selective breeding you could produce some exceptional animals with that guy.

I have some wild females with real nice clean lines.
