kingsnake bedding need urgent help!

hi I own a ruthvens kingsnake who i just bought a new tank and used play sand as a bedding is that ok? please reply soon

I would say no. Unless sand is a large part of their natural habitate, I wouldn't recommend it. For most snakes, paper towel, newsprint, cypress mulch or aspen shavings seems the most recommended.
