Just wondering if my ball python can get worms from live raised rodents. I've been raising my own rodents for a year now and I noticed something out of the norm in my ball's last feces. Don't know if it is worms or just normal. It looked like small tubes but when I touched it it disolved. Any ideas on what it may be??

I don't think it's possible for rodent parasites to infect reptiles, but i could be wrong. However snakes can get parasites, it may have always had parasites but was not to such extent it caused problems etc. The best way to determine if your snake and/or rodents have parasites is taking stool samples from the appropriate animal to a vet to do fecals.

Thanks for your help. I didn't think that mice could expecially if they are home bred. I've never heard of that before either. As for Cleo I've had her for 8 years and really never really paid attention to her feces. It may be normal but if does happen again I'm going to have it looked at.
