welcome to the python forum. we dont' really have a specific forum for new comers to post. most just use their favorite animal's forum to say their greetings so you deffinitely haven't done anything wrong.

as you choose the python forum, do you currently own pythons/ i myself have only a ball python though hoping to get more later this year if everything works out as planned.

quite the collection you have.

one way to post pictures is to upload the picturesr to the kingsnake photo gallery [it's very easy to sign up for one, pretty much just sign in using the same nic you use for the forums]. just size down the pictures so they are not too big, but they don't need to be tiny either. once the pictures are uploaded to the kingsnake photo gallery, when you next create a message, at the bottom of the area you type your message in, will be a drop down list to select a picture from your photo gallery. pick the picture you want to show, use the preview button to see if it indeed attaches to the bottom of your message, then you can either edit to try again or post the message and picture.

that is the easy way. you can also post multiple pictures in the same message but you have to manually put in the url of each picture. one way to do this is open your photo gallery in another browser window, then, click on the first picture you want to show in the message, and copy the url listed in teh address field. now, in the forum message body, use the html tags img and /img at either end of of the url. the 'img' tag needs to be infront of the url, and the '/url' tag at the end. also, both tags need to be enclosed in square brackets []. no spaces between the brackets, the tags or the url. put each picture url on a separate line. again use the preview button to ensure the pictures are posting correctly.

sometimes this doesn't work, i have a hard time getting it to work all the time, it seems to decide when it wants to work or not. i know teh tags are correct and all that..but sometimes it seems if the url is really long, it won't work. i don't have this problem posting multiple web addresses.
